Freeze-dried pineapple is 100% freeze-dried pineapple with no additives or preservatives, no chemical flavourings or colourings, and no synthetic pigments.
Freeze-drying is a process of drying fruit by freezing. The fruit is first rapidly frozen and then dried under reduced pressure, where the water in the fruit turns to vapour, allowing the fruit to retain its natural structure, colour, aroma and, above all, its nutritional value, including all the vitamins and minerals found in fresh fruit.
