Freeze-dried blackberries are 100% freeze-dried blackberries that retain the colour, shape and flavour of fresh blackberries, without any added stabilisers or flavourings. Only ripe, fresh berries are selected for freeze-drying.
Freeze-drying is a process of drying fruit by freezing. The fruit is first rapidly frozen and then dried under reduced pressure, where the water in the fruit turns to vapour, allowing the fruit to retain its natural structure, colour, aroma and, above all, nutritional value, including all the vitamins and minerals found in fresh fruit. Quite simply, everything you find in fresh fruit is also present in the freeze-dried version.
Blackberries contain vitamins A, B, C, E and K. In terms of minerals, they contain magnesium, calcium, manganese, potassium, phosphorus, iron, zinc and selenium. Blackberries are packed with antioxidants, tannins, fibre, and folic, ellagic and pantothenic acids. They also contain lutein and zeaxanthin, beta-carotene, and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Storage:
Do not expose to sunlight. Store at a temperature of up to 25 °C and a relative humidity of 70%. Use within 14 days of opening.
