Detailed product description
Refined
coconut oil is suitable for baking, cooking and frying. It can also be used in natural cosmetics. It
is a natural product, free from preservatives, synthetic substances, colourings and fragrances. It is resistant to heat and oxidation, remains stable even at high temperatures and does not go rancid! Coconut oil contains the following saturated fatty acids: lauric, capric, caprylic and myristic acids;
it also contains vitamins E and K. What makes coconut oil exceptional is that it consists of approximately 86 per cent saturated fats, which the body converts directly into energy rather than storing as body fat. It has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties and can be considered a natural antibiotic. It has a low glycaemic index of 40 and, what’s more, it doesn’t leave you feeling hungry.
Coconut oil has a delicious flavour and, as a food, is easily digestible; it does not put strain on the gallbladder and contains no cholesterol!
