A self-heating pack, also known as a flameless chemical heater, is a special sachet that heats your meal on its own without the need for a stove or cookware – in just 12 minutes! In the meantime, you can pitch your tent, light a fire; simply spend your time on more important activities than cooking. The self-heating pouch works on the principle of an exothermic reaction between calcium oxide and water.
This self-heating system consists of heating capsules (20 g to heat 500 g of food; 50 g to heat 1 kg of food) and a zip-lock bag, inside which the entire heating process takes place.
